Investigating the case
Everyone meets virtually in our meeting room and our officer introduces the case. Split into minor teams, you visit a number of different settings where it’s important to keep your eyes and ears open – as things are not necessarily what they seem.

The case is solved
The teams work together against the other teams in the race to solve the case. After the visual tour and investigating the case, we gather everyone again. The case is reviewed and the winning team is selected.

How the game works

A bank has been robbed, and you’ve been given the job of gathering and examining the evidence to identify the robbers. The participants are split into minor teams and during the game there will be a number of rounds where the teams will gather and visit several settings. It’s important to keep eyes and ears open – as things are not necessarily what they seem. Both a forensic scientist and an officer take part in the investigations.

Several unexpected incidents occur along the way – new information, updates and clues come to light all the time with breaking news from a LIVE blog in real time. Who open the vault and robbed the bank – and how?

Content of the game

We provide you with a story, acting, settings, etc. during the course of the game. The game is led virtually and LIVE from our settings by facilitators from us who is dressed as an officer and a forensic scientist.

The officer introduces the participants to the case and continuously guides them during the game. Everything takes place as a online meeting and the participants will be presented a mix of visual clues on different settings (police station, the vault, criminal technical center and evidence room). No preparation is required for the participants. The participants simply need access to a computer with Internet access and webcam.

Possible uses

The Vault is a visual, fun, fast-paced and entertaining game that is particularly suited to teams and businesses that work remotely and need a fun and entertaining break from their everyday life, strengthening their sense of community. It can be used as a different teamwork exercise, entertainment for the virtual get-together or as a weekday break for those unable to physically meet. The game is also suitable for hybrid meetings.

The game is designed for businesses, and the difficulty level is set accordingly.

In The Vault the participants are spilt into minor teams that compete against each other. There will be a number of rounds where the teams will visit different settings when investigating the case. Along the way, there are both joint scenes where everyone is gathered at once, and parts during the game where smaller teams work separately.

Reflect on teamwork and communicationBesides cooperating on a murder mystery, during the exercise, teams will have the oppotunity to subsequently evaluate their teamwork and communication. These tools can then be re-shaped for use at work and with colleagues.
Forensic scientistAn additional actor (dressed as a forensic scientist) participates in the investigation and provides various clues and evidence. It makes the case more visual.

Is it LIVE or pre-recorded?

Everything takes place LIVE. At the agreed starting time, our facilitators are ready to greet you and your team in our virtual meeting room and will be present throughout the entire process.

Everything we say and do is LIVE. Nothing is pre-recorded.

Are you available on our preferred date?

Please check our booking calendar – or feel free to contact us – we would be happy to check a specific date or several specific dates for availability.

Less than 48 hours until your event? Please contact us for availability.

How many will be attending from your company?

We facilitate everything from start to finish.

Regardless of the selected edition participants will always have a facilitator who leads the entire game.

For events with many participants and/or in plus editions we’ll provide several facilitators that will attend and assist in the game and/or act as a backup with technical aspects, team division etc.

Which edition should we choose?

We guarantee that you will have a good experience, no matter which edition you choose.

If you want something extra, you can go with the plus edition. If you want to bring down the price, you can choose the light edition.

Most customers choose the standard edition.

Can you do it in other languages?

All our games are available in English. Selected games are also available in German.

Is there any prepareration needed?

We will facilitate everything from the moment we step into the room and guide you throughout the entire game. Besides a computer with internet access and webcam, there is no preparation or downloading needed from the participants.

In The Vault the participants also have the opportunity to use their mobile phone to get easy access to our LIVE blog.

How many participants can we be?

In The Vault you can be between 4-1.000 participants.

What do I need to do?

After booking the event you can sit back and relax.

We will plan all the details and take care of the whole event from start to finish. Once we get started, there is nothing you need to do. You can participate on equal terms with your colleagues.

How many teams will we be divided into?

Participants will be divided into several teams. The number of teams depends on the final number of participants. We can split the teams randomly. Should you wish to determine the team in advance this is possible in the standard and plus editions.

When is the best time to start?

Our games can be conducted both during the day and throughout the evening.

We can start at whatever time suits you the best – no matter what timezone you are located in.

Can I change the date after booking?

Yes, you can change the date up to 30 days before. Note that the payment will remain due on the original date
